“ I feel so intensely the delights of shutting oneself up in a little world of one’s own, with pictures and music and everything beautiful. ”

This is honestly the best poster I have found in a while supporting breast cancer awareness. I am honestly so sick of seeing, “set the tatas free” and “save the boobies”. There is no reason in hell a life threatening, life ruining disease should be sexualized. “Don’t wear a bra day,” go fuck yourselves. You’re not saving a pair of tits, you’re saving the entire package: mind, body, and soul included. Women are not just a pair of breasts.

Explores the distortion anxiety can subject an individual to, questioning whether worry, stress and irrational fear is self-inflicted. Furthermore it reveals the chaos that lies beneath the mask an individual will do in an attempt to escape vulnerability and exposure. Each portrait, both individually and as a series, is a visual representation of the chaos and emotional stress overwhelming the anxious mind. Anxiety is a natural emotion that can, when in small dosages, motivate its victim, however in the ever increasing pace of our modern world and the digital age we live in, the expectations society holds for our youth and the anxiety and stress this consequently breeds is ultimately bringing our youth to their knees.
